Budgeting for Christmas

From Kristen at Couponing to Disney

The average family spends approximately $640 on holiday shopping each year. If you started saving now, you would just need to save $43 a week for your holiday shopping. That seems a lot more manageable than $640 in one lump sum.
But I know that most of us are not average, so it’s important to figure out YOUR personal Christmas budget. If you started your Christmas Binder last week, you should have an idea of who you need to buy presents for and what you already have on hand. The next step is figuring out the cash budget.
I was looking around online and I found this awesome Christmas Budget spreadsheet by Simplemom.net. It includes your gift budget, but it also includes decorating, food, Christmas Cards and more. I urge you to take a moment to start planning your budget now while you still have 15 weeks until Christmas.
