This week Rite Aid had 2 $25 coupons for transferring a prescription. I took them to my local CVS and asked them if they would honor it, as I would like to keep my prescriptions there, but for the $50 I'd move them to Rite Aid if needed. They took the coupons with no problem. So I got my 2 prescriptions refilled and got $50 in CVS gift certificates.
I also did a quick search to see if there were any rebates from the pharmaceutical companies on them and found that BOTH have rebates for $20 and $25 each for 3 refills!! So, by doing a quick check and asking a question, I get 3 refills on 2 prescriptions (which is almost an entire years worth) with the co pay covered and got $50 in gift cards.
Just remember, it never hurts to ask.
